Does the estimate include mortar joints?
No. It divides the lining area by the entered brick face area, then adds the selected waste allowance. Confirm joint thickness and layout with the supplier or installer.
Which brick dimensions should I enter?
Enter the two dimensions that form the visible face in your planned lining orientation. A different orientation changes the estimated quantity.
Can I use the result as the final purchase quantity?
Use it for early planning and RFQ preparation only. Final quantities should reflect drawings, joints, cuts, special shapes, repairs, and supplier or installer confirmation.
